Aznom L’EPOQUE
A chauffeur-driven concept designed for those who demand the highest standards of comfort, privacy and exclusivity.
L’EPOQUE is a concept car inspired by the grand parade cars and chauffeur-driven coupés of the 1920s and 1930s, reinterpreted with 21st-century proportions and technologies. It is not a nostalgic exercise: it is a cultural translation of that language – coachbuilding, Art Deco, stage presence – into contemporary vocabulary.
In L’EPOQUE, exclusivity is not measured in display inches, but in the choice of materials and the quality of workmanship. Handcrafted wood, fine fabrics and tactile details create an environment that favours authentic sensations over technological ostentation.
The goal is simple to state but difficult to design: to eliminate the divide between the tranquillity of a suite (or an owner’s deck, or a jet) and road travel. L’EPOQUE was created to make the journey a continuation of living.
“At a time when hostility towards the automotive world is a sad topic of current affairs, our vision – and our hope – is to return to beauty, style and craftsmanship in cars. For many years, the car has been a status symbol, an extension of one’s style, a masterpiece of technique, design and materials. With an eye to the future, but inspired by the past, I would like to see the car loved again, once more a source of inspiration and not just an unpleasant means of getting from point A to point B. L’EPOQUE is the vision of AZNOM and our friends at CAMAL Studio: a deliberately exaggerated idea, but one capable of bringing the car back into the realm of works of art and human ingenuity.”

The concept behind L’EPOQUE is the linearity of experience: minimising the perception of “transfer” and maximising that of permanence. Passengers are at the centre of the design; everything else – driving, mechanics, technology – recedes into the background and becomes discreet..

The concept
A monument on wheels, an expression of a status that cannot be bought, but built.
The style
Long bonnet, rearward cabin and boat-tail rear inspired by nautical forms and vintage grand tourers. The vertical, monumental front grille recalls Art Deco architectural patterns; the windows interact with the idea of continuous, “urban” surfaces.
The doors feature an unconventional double-kinematic opening system; a portion of the roof lifts up to facilitate access and posture. A luminous carpet projected onto the ground welcomes guests on board.
The concept proposed for the passenger compartment breaks with traditional automotive ergonomics: there are no seats in the strict sense, but rather furnishings. The idea is to recreate a private lounge in the rear, where the on-board technology – screens, controls, air conditioning – is integrated so that it only emerges when needed.
The large rear sofa is the centrepiece of the experience; two additional seats emerge when needed without altering the overall harmony, defining the 2+2+2 configuration.
Natural materials and workmanship reflect the Italian craftsmanship of fine furniture: selected woods, leathers and fabrics inspired by the interiors of historic buildings. Soundproofing (passive and active) is an integral part of the concept of privacy.
“L’EPOQUE is not just a vehicle, but a timeless journey. It was born from the idea of transforming travel into a regenerative experience, imagining the car as an exclusive suite. Its discreet and balanced design interprets a new concept of luxury mobility, where tranquillity prevails over speed and well-being over technology. With its classic and uncompromising lines, L’EPOQUE is designed to stand the test of time: a monument on wheels, an expression of a status that cannot be bought, but built.”

Features
Silent technology
In L’EPOQUE, technology does not show off but works silently to keep the cabin stable, quiet and consistent, while adaptive suspension, advanced controls and driver assistance systems anticipate road conditions and preserve comfort.
Inside, the experience is governed by an artificial intelligence-based assistant that coordinates the entire on-board ecosystem through natural voice commands. The adaptive microclimate adjusts temperature, humidity and fragrance according to the guest’s profile, and the same applies to light, sound and atmosphere. The result is a cabin in which the use of physical interfaces and controls is minimised, because the voice becomes the centre of control.
Propulsion and architecture
Traction is provided by four electric motors (one per wheel) for a total power output of over 1000 hp. A V6 motor generator acting as a range extender supports the range by powering a 100 kWh battery.
The proposed architecture (with a ladder frame, consistent with the scale of the vehicle) allows for sophisticated dynamics management: intelligent all-wheel drive, active suspension with road surface detection and automatic levelling to keep the car perfectly horizontal even on cobblestones, port ramps and uneven surfaces.
